Ridgeline Recon provides pre-hunt planning, research, mapping, logistics support, educational support, and decision-support materials for DIY hunters. Specific service scope, package level, pricing, add-ons, and delivery timelines are confirmed before paid work begins.

These terms apply to website use, intake submissions, communications, service requests, purchased packages, add-ons, and deliverables provided by Ridgeline Recon.
Services
Ridgeline Recon provides pre-hunt intelligence and planning support for DIY hunters. Services may include research, mapping, logistics support, and strategic decision-support materials.
Scope
The purchased service, deliverables, price, add-ons, and estimated timeline are controlled by the confirmed project scope and written communication with Ridgeline Recon.
No guarantees
Ridgeline Recon does not guarantee animal sightings, access, shot opportunity, harvest, recovery, tag success, or any specific hunting outcome.
Client responsibilities
- Provide accurate hunt details, tag information, timelines, goals, constraints, and planning needs.
- Verify current regulations, boundaries, access, closures, road status, and land ownership before and during the hunt.
- Obtain all required licenses, tags, permits, permissions, stamps, and legal approvals.
- Make all final field, safety, route, weather, shooting, recovery, and hunting decisions.
- Use judgment appropriate to your physical ability, experience, equipment, and risk tolerance.
Ridgeline Recon responsibilities
- Review intake details before recommending a package, scope, add-ons, and delivery timeline.
- Provide the agreed pre-hunt planning deliverables within the confirmed service scope.
- Communicate scope limits, known uncertainties, and areas requiring field verification.
- Clarify delivered materials within the agreed clarification window when applicable.
- Decline or limit projects that are not a good fit for Ridgeline Recon services.
Pricing and delivery
Payment, scope, and changes.
Starting prices are not always final prices. Final pricing depends on the confirmed scope, package, timeline, complexity, and add-ons.
Payment terms
Payment is due according to the confirmed service scope, invoice, payment link, or written agreement. Ridgeline Recon is not obligated to begin paid work until required payment and necessary intake information have been received.
Rush work, added areas, expanded review, or additional services may require additional fees before work begins.
Scope changes
Changes to hunt area, species, season, weapon, timeline, package level, deliverable, add-ons, or project direction may require revised pricing and timeline approval before additional work is performed.
Requests outside the confirmed scope are not included unless Ridgeline Recon approves them in writing.
Refunds and cancellations
Because Ridgeline Recon services involve customized research, planning, and preparation, refunds may be limited once work has begun. Any refund, credit, cancellation, or rescheduling decision is handled based on the confirmed scope, timing, completed work, and written communication.
If Ridgeline Recon determines a project is not a good fit before paid work begins, the project may be declined or redirected before payment is accepted.
Delivery and clarification
Delivery timelines are estimates unless specifically confirmed otherwise in writing. Delays may occur if client information is incomplete, inaccurate, late, or if scope changes are requested.
Clarification after delivery is limited to the delivered scope. New hunt areas, major changes, additional research, or new strategy work may require a new scope or add-on.
Limitations
Important service boundaries.
Not a guide
Ridgeline Recon does not guide, outfit, transport hunters, pack game, accompany clients in the field, or provide in-person hunt execution services.
Not legal advice
Ridgeline Recon does not provide legal advice, licensing advice, regulation approval, enforcement interpretation, or official agency determinations.
Not emergency service
Ridgeline Recon does not provide rescue, medical, emergency, survival, real-time safety monitoring, or in-field risk management services.
Not access control
Ridgeline Recon does not secure private land permission, leases, trespass rights, road access, or guaranteed access to any public or private area.
Intellectual property
Ridgeline Recon materials, templates, language, structure, research approach, planning format, branding, and deliverables are provided for the client’s personal hunt planning use unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Clients may not resell, redistribute, publish, copy, or commercially exploit Ridgeline Recon deliverables without written permission.
Client information
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information. Ridgeline Recon may rely on the information provided during intake and communication.
Inaccurate, incomplete, or late information may affect recommendations, scope, delivery, and usefulness of the final deliverable.
Risk and liability
Hunting involves inherent risk.
Outdoor travel and hunting involve physical hazards, weather, terrain, wildlife, weapons, roads, access uncertainty, and changing conditions. You are responsible for your own decisions and conduct.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ridgeline Recon is not liable for injuries, losses, damages, failed hunts, missed opportunities, access issues, legal issues, weather impacts, animal movement, client decisions, or conditions outside Ridgeline Recon’s control.
Information can change
Roads, closures, land ownership, access rules, regulations, animal movement, fire activity, weather, and hunting pressure can change. You must verify current information before and during your hunt.
General website terms
Ridgeline Recon may update website content, pricing, services, packages, terms, disclaimers, and policies at any time. Continued use of the website or services after updates means you accept the updated terms.
If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
