How it works

Simple process. Serious preparation.

The hunt intake gives me the information needed to review fit, scope, package level, pricing, and delivery timeline before paid work begins.

Scope before work begins.

Ridgeline Recon is built around clear expectations. You submit the details first. I review the hunt, confirm whether it is a good fit, recommend the right service level, and identify any add-ons before payment. No surprise work gets added later without your approval.

01

Submit the hunt intake

Share your tag, hunt dates, weapon, species, unit or hunt area, goals, current plan, and the specific problems you need help solving.

02

Fit and scope review

I review the information to determine whether Ridgeline Recon is the right fit and what level of support the hunt actually requires.

03

Package recommendation

You receive the recommended package, any needed add-ons, total price, expected delivery window, and a clear scope before paid work starts.

04

Recon work begins

After confirmation and payment, I begin the agreed pre-hunt intelligence work based on the scope confirmed during intake.

05

Delivery and clarification

You receive the agreed deliverable. Follow-up is limited to clarification questions directly tied to the delivered plan, not unlimited new scope.

06

Execute the hunt plan

You take the plan, verify current regulations, access, boundaries, weather, and field conditions, then make your own decisions in the hunt area.

Follow-up limits

Clear answers. Clear boundaries.

A short clarification window helps prevent confusion after delivery while keeping the project from turning into unlimited consulting.

Clarification includes

  • Questions directly tied to the delivered plan
  • Clarifying map notes, terrain observations, or strategy language
  • Reasonable follow-up within the agreed service scope

New scope includes

  • New units, new drainages, or added hunt areas
  • Major changes to species, season, weapon, or hunt strategy
  • Additional research beyond the confirmed package or add-ons

Hunter responsibility

The plan does not replace field judgment.

Ridgeline Recon helps organize pre-hunt information and planning. You remain responsible for verifying current rules, access, safety, field conditions, and every decision made during the hunt.

Ridgeline Recon helps with

  • Terrain, access, and pressure considerations
  • Primary and backup planning options
  • Practical strategy and execution notes

You remain responsible for

  • Regulations, boundaries, access, and permissions
  • Weather, road conditions, safety, and field decisions
  • All hunting outcomes, including sightings, opportunity, and harvest
